Who We Are/Sustainability
The Goods Apparel was founded on the idea that there is always room for improvement. We aim to constantly grow our sustainability efforts as we grow as a company.
By producing our goods exclusively in small batches we never run the risk of overproducing & creating waste. Instead of releasing large collections seasonally, we strive to create individual timeless pieces that outlast a season. We want to provide you the pieces that you reach for everyday, as a better alternative to fast fashion basics that are designed to fall apart. Our Goods are meant to be loved & worn repeatedly until you've decided its time to give them a second life.
We believe that we are fully responsible for the impact of the goods we sell. That is why we are committed to always improving our sustainability efforts in every decision we make from design to packaging. Our Goods are made entirely from either certified dead stock or recycled fabric. Dead stock is essentially left over or excess fabric from other brands that would otherwise end up in the landfill. We source all of our dead stock fabric locally in Los Angeles and inspect it to insure quality. All of our swimwear is made from buttery soft ECONYL® regenerated Nylon~ recycled fabric made from fishing nets + other consumer waste.
Where the Magic Happens
We take pride in producing all of our Goods in Los Angeles, California. Manufacturing locally allows us to ensure we only use ethical practices throughout our entire supply chain.
Like we said, we believe that there is always room for improvement. If you'd like to provide suggestions or feedback we'd love to hear! Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
